About Karla’s Craft Kitchen

Karla’s Craft Kitchen was founded with a simple purpose — to share the authentic taste of Bolivian salteñas through handcrafted quality and tradition.

What began in a home kitchen has grown into something more than just food. It’s a way of bringing people together, of sharing culture, and of creating moments around something made with care.

Our Story

Founded in 2024 in Houston, Karla’s Craft Kitchen started as a small, home-based operation driven by passion, dedication, and a deep connection to Bolivian cuisine.

Friends, family, and early customers quickly fell in love with the flavor, the quality, and the experience — and word began to spread.

Every batch of salteñas reflects that same beginning.

Nothing is rushed. Nothing is mass-produced. Each step is done with intention, just as it was from day one.

As word spread, more people discovered the quality, the tradition, and the experience behind every salteña.

Our Process

We believe great food starts with great ingredients and careful preparation.

Our salteñas are made using organic unbleached flour, prepared with olive oil instead of seed oils, and filled with rich, savory recipes rooted in tradition. From the dough to the filling, every detail is handled with precision and care.

Each salteña is handcrafted in small batches, ensuring consistency, freshness, and the quality you can taste in every bite.

Our Mission

Our mission is simple — to deliver authentic, high-quality salteñas while staying true to the values we started with: craftsmanship, integrity, and attention to detail.

Karla's Craft Kitchen

Whether you’re enjoying them freshly baked for pickup in Houston or baking them at home through our nationwide delivery, our goal is the same: to give you a true taste of Bolivia.
